Well... I take back everything I said about looking forward to that Ryan Adams concert at the Commodore in March because mere hours after I purchased tickets, the official word was released that he needs to cancel the entire tour to recover from his broken wrist (from the Jan. 22nd Liverpool show). What a shitty thing to happen. While I really feel badly for him and such, I am just pissed that Ticketmaster gets to keep all the convenience charges and whatever other loaded costs they nail you for when you do business with them. Apparently they are not refundable. BLAH! I lost a grand total of $17 extra dollars on two tickets that at their face value are worth $27.50... if you can tell me where these alleged EXTRA costs come from please let me know because I was even going to pick them up at a ticket centre myself so there was no postage. It's all BULLSHIT :'( Anyways I will have to break it to Mel that in some way she still owes me $8.50 for a show we apparently never had a chance in hell of seeing.

HOWEVER, on a much BRIGHTER note... Dave and I have been together for a year today :) On this day last year we had our first dates. Yes, we actually had two dates in one day.. if that is any indication of how well things were going than perhaps you are not surprised that here we are a year later. I am so pleased. I really really love him and am so glad we met because I had just about given up on any hope of meeting a decent guy at Laurier. Sometimes life throws you a little curveball eh? Anyhow the only problem is this whole cross-country dating situation which will hopefully be resolved some time soon. :)
Happy 1 Year Anniversary Dave... I LOVE YOU! And I will be home in TWO weeks! YAY!
