It's been quite a while since I last wrote and for good reason. I have been pretty busy with work and have also had lots of distractions.
In the past month I have gained a new roommate (Jenny, a friend of Greg's), been hospitalized for a kidney stone (and doped up on morphine!) and just this past weekend on Saturday, June 19th, the very elderly but sweet family cat Charlie was put to sleep. She had inoperable/incurable cancer and basically she was just wasting away. She was the sweetest little cat and although she only lived with my family for five years (she was an addition to the family when my dad got married to Mary-Anne in 1999) we grew to love her very much. It has been a pretty traumatic weekend to say the least because of this event. Charlie was the first pet Michaela and I ever had because my dad would not let us have a pet when we were young. Even my dad was shaken up by the turn of events with Charlie's health. Anyways from this point onward I am going to try and keep up with this blog a little more often.
Sweet dreams & good night all. And Charlie... wherever you are, we miss you very much. I keep looking for you all over the house.
